Anyone shed any light on these?

Found amongst some family stuff. Smaller of them are about the size of a twenty pence piece. All have pins to attach to a coat or jacket I assume.

Nothing on them to give any clues, the smaller ones all look Edwardian military, bigger one is intriguing as there is far less decoration and a very different style of hair.

How lovely....they look like photo buttons but I don't think they would have pins attached unless they have been made into lapel pins.

I read some years ago that at the time of the Second Boer War badges were sold which bore photographs of the military bigwigs of the day: I remember that in particular Kitchener and Roberts were mentioned.  I'd hazard a guess that these are those badges.

They are Edwardian Celebrity Pin Backs...if you google you will get lots of examples.

The somewhat furtive looking gentleman on the second row is Field Marshall Sir George Stuart White.

And bottom row far right is "Bobs" - Field Marshal Frederick Sleigh Roberts, 1st Earl Roberts.

Ok that shed a lot of light. 2nd Boer War. The bigger of them is Kitchener.
