I hadn't seen that site will take a look for sure. It kind of makes it seem like most of the children were happy but what James David gr granddaughter says paints a different story on how these two boys were treated here. It sounds like the boys slept in barns with animals in the dead of winters. Canada can get very cold in winters not like England...

Yes he could, in the UK, anyone, even to this day, can change there name without legal documentation, as long as it is not for fraudulent use.

Yes I saw that one, but I think I accounted for him, in earlier record, but is worth another check
