Can anyone help me find Jane Johnson in the 1841 census?
She was baptised 17th January 1813, at Thornton in the parish of Stainton.
Daughter of John and Elizabeth Johnson.
She registered the death of her elder sister (Phoebe Johnson) on 27 October 1843, and gave her name as Jane Johnson (sister) resident of Stainton. So it would seem that she should be present in Stainton along with her sister Pheobe both being unmarried.
Regards,
CnB

I can't see her at the moment, but for reference the couple's four daughter including Margaret and Penelope were baptised on the same day in 1813 so they may be older than the year of baptism would suggest

As additional background detail, Jane had four sisters;
Penelope, baptised 1807 (died 1808)
Phoebe and Penelope, twins, born 1809
Margaret, baptised 1810
Phoebe, Penelope, Margaret and Jane were all again jointly baptised 1813
