Hi Sue, just been told by a cousin we are belonging to Woods Roberts Gipsyies ,i am seaching for my  g grandfather John Roberts all i know is that my grandmother Emma Roberts was born 1877? i think in Carnafon they lived in Pepper Lane at sometime her father who i am seaching for was said to have died in the Gold Mines in South Africa ,around 1882-1885.could this John Roberts be related to your Thomas Roberts? My mother was born on Anglesey i have posted a message on this board about her  perhaps you have read it  subject Jane Williams Menai Bridge  by mrs griff . could you reply if any of this makes senses to you  hope my cousin was telling the truth

I have done a lot of research on Abram Woods. I am a direct descendant. Sue we have corresponded in the past and I sent you Dr Sampson's tree.
Were you ever able to connect your family? I have done a lot more research since we were last in touch a few years ago. Let me know

I found the marriage of Thomas Roberts and Ellen Wood on North Wales BMD to have taken place at Boduan St Buan Church in 1861.The GRO equivalent for the marriage is Jan/Feb/Mar quarter 1861,Volume 11b,Page 563.The marriage is said to have taken place in the Pwllheli District of Caernarvonshire.

If my memory serves me well, there was a Harpist of some reknown related to the Wood(s) family.
