Thank you once again.

Suddenly you realise how quickly the children were born and probably died, especially when a name gets recycled so soon after the first.

I have managed to trace the Henocq tree back to France, but there are missing details, e.g. baptisms/birthdays of George and Harriet's children.  George also served in the army which is another avenue for me to go down sometime.

I only meant to spend a few minutes on the tree - it must be time for bed for a weary

Thank you everyone for filling in lots of empty twigs on my tree, especially during the early 20th century - been puzzling me for months why I couldn't find them!! ???

Now the mystery has been solved, well done.

ps - any more parts of the tree you come across would be greatly appreciated.

Afternoon Rootschatters

Does anyone know how I can find out, without purchasing a birth certificate, the parentage of a mystery person - it is ELIZABETH FANNY HENOCQ b.1882 Chelsea 1a/317 first quarter.  The area is appropriate for the family but I cannot place this person.

Your help would be appreciated.

Hi

Have you just found the birth registration in the index or do you have something else?

There's no obvious baptism showing up.

That's quick!!    I could only find a birth on the FreeBMD and not anything else.  I wondered whether she had died young.

The birth seems to have been transcribed as Elizabeth Fanny Henoco.
