Quinn family from Alleghany Pennsylvania
« on: Monday 11 November 13 22:50 GMT (UK) »
Hello My great great uncle Robert Andrew Quinn immigrate in 1913 from Co Down in N Ireland. He married Mary and had several children the youngest was called Thomas Henry and clara M. In the 1930 census Robert is 44 and his daughter is 4.It mentions a place where they lived called Wilkinsburg. I am trying to trace my ancestors who may still be living in this area. Robert Andrew Quinns father was called Thomas Quinn and he was my grandmothers grandpa. Robert had a brother called george who was killed in the shipyard in a very tragic accident. He was my mothers grandpa.
This family of Quinns back home resided in east Belfast and some in Robert's home town  of Newtownards. Does this ring a bell with anyone out there?  :)
