Robert A Quinn
Wilkinsburg, Allegheny, Pennsylvania

this is all the  family that are connected to me.  My great great uncle was called Robert Andrew Quinn and not Thomas as a middle name although his father was called thomas but he is on the NI census 1901 and 1911 named as Robert Andrew. Is this still the same family connections ..sorry to confuse matters..

I've just replied to another of your posts and then found this one. Cut and paste from sources such as LDS site is not allowed but these Quinns list their birthplace as Irish Free State and you said yours were from County Down (Northern Ireland).
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

The census taker in 1930 was supposed to distinguish between Irish Free State and Northern Ireland, as explained here - http://www.archives.gov/research/census/1930/general-faqs.html

Sometimes, the census taker or the person giving the information will make an error.  However, given the common names you are dealing with, I think you need further information aside from the census to verify if this is the right family.
