By the way please let me know what Lanc Sqn he was on 😀 When you find out
Hi Thanks both. He was a rear gunner in a lancaster  with a new zealand crew I believe. His war record states he was a flight mechanic and flight sergeant. He arrived in Khormaksar in July 1946 and was there for a year.

My Father in law served in the RAF from 1943 until 1947 and I am trying to find out which squadron he was with. We know that he went to Aden after training. I have his war reciord from the RAF disclosure unit but it doesnt seem to state any squadron etc. Does anyone know where I go from here? Thankyou
He was probably with several different squadrons over the course of his service.

I think that your thread title "RAF Regiments"    may be confusing some readers of this thread.
RAF Regiment  is a specific branch or "Command"  of the RAF.   It is like the Infantry  or Military Police section of the RAF charged with airfield security.

Do you know which medals he was awarded?

It may be best if you start your own thread  with your own chosen thread title, as your enquiry here will get overlooked  and submerged.
