ww1 trying to trace grandfathers army history

hi I am trying to trace my Grand Fathers military History I don't have much details on him and have hit a brick wall - I got his Marriage cert Oct 5th 1915 Thomas Watson to Mary Keegan Church of Our Lady Refuge Rathmines - residence address on Marriage cert 'Barracks Kinsale Cork'   Buried Mount Jerome Cementary 01/12/1937 - (DOB approx 1891 I think)    1932 British Army House in Larkfield Kimmage.  Any help much appreciated

To see if  anything can be found for your Thomas Watson  please could you from his marriage certificate give us his father’s name & occupation did a family member/s witness the marriage?
Does it give Thomases age?

On family search overseas military there are these two Thomases about the right age

Alexander Barracks Maymyo Burma
Thomas Watson age 20 (1891) Dromore

A possibility for above Thomas  on 1901 Ireland census 
Thomas Watson age 10 living Dromore Urban, Down with father David widower stonemason plus siblings

We have no Idea where his birth place was or his date of birth.
On his marriage cert his father is Thomas Watson (Deceased) Occupation Boat man
Witnesses:John & Annie Keegan

PS - He might have been born in UK ??  Really have no idea!!!!
