How to link a post to previous posts

Hi,
Can anybody tell me how to insert links to previous posts by myself (new topics) in a new post.  Particularly if there are several previous topics/posts.  TX Bob

You need to go to the topic or reply you want to mention and then copy & paste the URL from the top of the screen into the next topic.

ie the URL for this topic is

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=667433.0
