Branching out. Can anyone help with a search for my gg-grandfather. My only details so far are that he was born about 1874. In later life he resided at12 Grove Place Salford and at some point he ran a pub called the Bulls Head in either Eccles or Salford. I need help to find his parent/s. I seem to recall a rumour that his mother was unmarried and this may be why its difficult to find him as I am sure they were Catholics (my father was) and I dont know if he ever had any other siblings

Hi,
There is a Thomas
William
Tomlison born 1873, Salford married to Hannah Cope in 1895
Would this be the correct one? If not do you have details of who he married and any children's names to help locate him?

Hi
Sorry did not read your request properly
If TT is the one found in census the father is
Thomas born 1843 in Wigglesworth Yorkshire
and Mother Elizabeth born 1849 in Llanrwst Denbighshire
Thats if JJ and I are correct

I think you may have found them. I think I am mixing up dates with both TT being father and son. I have not come across any other near enough matches, I can now hopefully further my search in the right area. Many thanks again
