Heraldic artist Mr George Scruby

I'm trying to research any information on Heraldic Artist Mr George Scruby. He was commissioned to write a roll of honour for World War 1 casualties for Liverpool Cathedral in the 1920s. The book is on display in Liverpool Cathedral on the cenotaph.
I wondered if an article was written about it at any time in the Liverpool press?

There was a small article in the Manchester (sorry  ) Guardian, 7th Feb 1928 headed "Eight Years' Work on Roll of Honour"
It doesn't give any details of George Scruby himself, but it does say that "in the writing of the names, Mr Scruby was helped by his daughter and several other people."
In the 1911 census he has two daughters, Audrey Treweek Scruby b. 1901 and Dulcie Marion Scruby b. 1902.

He also had an obituary in the Times, pub 13 Nov 1937. Among  other things, he designed a Book of Remembrance for the House of Commons. Presumably one of these:

The Times also carried a review of the Liverpool exhibition at Walkers Galleries, New Bond St,  where the Roll of Honour was first displayed (pub. 7 Feb 1928)

I am new to the forum and found my way here by searching for information on Heraldic artist George Scruby. As well as Audrey and Dulcie, his youngest daughter was called Angela and she was a close family friend. After her death we inherited, amongst other things, some of the drawings and paintings done by her father, George Scruby. I am wondering whether I should have them valued.
