I am trying to find details of a Soldier who served with the Manchester Regiment and Machine Gun Corps during WW1, I have his medal index and award details for his DCM but that's where it ends, he was Robert Taylor 3357 Manchester Regiment and 39353 Machine Gun Corps, his DCM citation states his residence or place of birth as "Manchester" but with the amount of Robert Taylors there are on the 1911 census I am struggling, if you can help it would be appreciated, does anyone have access to the Manchester absent voters list for 1918?
