John Richardson Marriage Shenton

Hi - Is there anyone who could look up a marriage for me?

John Richardson (of Shenton, Leicestershire) was a widow on his 2nd marriage certificate in 1843, Claybrook, Leics.  He was born around 1800 in Shenton, so I assume he married between 1820 and 1840.

If anyone can give me details of his 1st marriage and when his 1st wife died, I would be extremely grateful.

In the 1841 for Claybrooke his wife appears to be Sarah.  All b Leics

Can you confirm re-marriage was 1843?  Nothing on freebmd

Thanks for the reply. I have seen the 1841 census and he appears to be living as man and wife with Sarah. He actually does not marry Sarah until 1843. I have their marriage certificate. I do not know why he is pretending in 1841.

Just found marriage - 1844 not 1843 and she was Sarah Hipwell

Sarah was a widower too. She was born Pratt but was married to George Hipwell. He died in 1839.
