North Holland Help for a Death
« on: Thursday 31 October 13 23:03 GMT (UK) »
Just found out my great grandmother Theresa Bootiman died 25 March 1871 in North Holland
probably somewhere along the coast
Is there anyone that can help me find out where and how she died
The family would have travelled there from the North of England
by steamboat owned by her husband
Thank You
Regards
John

Hi John,

Theresa died at the 25. of March 1871 at Wijkeroog. Her husband, John Dixon Bootiman, was working as a Channel Worker. At that time the North Sea Canal was constructed (1865-1876) near Haarlem.
She was just visiting and still living in England.
Found nothing about the course of her death.

Greetings,
Dauro...
