Death Certificate 1879

I wonder if anybody can tell me how to go about applying for a death certificate for Warren City, Trumbull, Ohio for the year 1879 and whether or not it would show the deceased's parents.

I looked at www.familysearch.org, Ohio Deaths and Burials, 1854-1997 and just put in a death range and place of death.  Click on some of the names, and you'll see what information has been transcribed from the death information for that period of time.

Thank you for your replies, much appreciated.  I do have the familysearch entry and unfortunately it gives no parents, so I assume no parents were noted on his death certificate.

Please note that newspapers around this date in this area begin to get very helpful.  Obituaries and death notices begin to get more informational.  Necrology lists begin to appear each January for the previous year.  In many newspapers, each community had a correspondent who reported on the social events of that community.  Often when someone died, a correspondent would note who attended a funeral when they were visitors from out of the community.  Additionally, a correspondent would note members of the community who travelled to attend a funeral of a relative.
