Mary Copeland - Nottingham

Just wondering if anyone can help with information regarding the Copeland family of Nottingham.  Mary Ann M. Copeland was born in 1920, I have her parents listed below, that is all I have.   Would like to find out of there were other children (siblings), and also any info re: her parents.

Mary did marry - (not sure where) to Ernest Lewis Johnson around 1937/38.  He was from Derbyshire - so not sure if they married there, or in Nottingham.

Where is your information from that her mother's maiden name was Castledine?

The information was from ancestry website - however, it looks like a mistake, as her mother's maiden may have started with a 'R or a P' (that was the talk of family).   On the death cert, maiden name is unknown,   J,

There is a Mary A.M Copeland registered DecQ 1920 Shardlow Reg District. Mothers maiden name is given as Perry.
There is a Charles Copeland married Gladys Perry in 1918 Sept Q in Lambeth.

I think you need to get a copy of Mary's marriage certificate to confirm her fathers name.

If they are her parents, you mentioned 'Lambeth', is this still in Nottingham area or elsewhere?

After 1948 - Ernest and Mary (Copeland) Johnson migrated to Australia with their 4 children.

It looks that there was a brother James E birth reg in Shardlow district 1914 and a sister Grace, birth registered in Shardlow district 1916. both with mother's maiden name Perry

Haven't been able to find a marriage between a Copeland and a Perry!!!!!in England around those dates.

Gladys Perry ,21, spin 1 Addington Crescent, father Richard Perry, decd, Foreman.
Witnessed by Charles Converys & Winifred Hallam.
Married at St Johns, Waterloo Road and it was by licence

There are also 3 other Copeland children registered with mother's maiden name given as Perry

Charles occupation was given as Soldier on the marriage certificate, so maybe the family moved around the country with his job.
