Emma Harding HOGAN, dau of James Thomas HOGAN and Lucy  ;D

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/XTCF-KTT  Matilda Harding HOGAN, gives Houghton as Christening place  ;D

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/XTCF-KT1  Eliza Harding HOGAN, Houghton as Christening place, may well be different location from birth place,  born 1841, Christening 1847

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/XTCF-KYS  Louisa Harding HOGAN, like the others, middle name of Harding

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/XTCF-KY7 Henry Harding HOGAN, like the others, Christening 1847

I did not find parish transcriptions at family search for Ann or for Walter  :)  I notice the NSW BDM has Ann and Walter's ECRs in vol 56.  So, perhaps the family had moved from Houghton.

NSW to James T and Lucy/Luce - these would be from parish records

cando, in regards to edwin's 1828 birth date, it is on australian royalty, but also as edward on unassisted passenger list (ship curler, if i recall correctly) he was one of  james t's first three to elizabeth harding.
