Sadly not!  I know absolutely nothing about her.  The story goes that she was ill and went home to die leaving her husband and 8 children behind.  I then discovered that she was born and bred in Glasgow so that story went out the window. It then changed  to she was visiting her sister somewhere in England, which really could be anywhere. Not much to go on.

Hi

It's been a few years since you posted this but on the offchance that you haven't solved the mystery yet, I think I can provide more info.

We have a strangely similar family tale. An aunt known as Nellie  "came home" to the Lawlor family who were all from Glasgow and had moved to Billingham (TS23) in the 1930s. She died and was buried in St Cuthbert's Churchyard on Billingham Green. I don't know much more than this but happy to pass on what I know in case this is the person you were looking for.
