Hello, I am trying to find out about these brave men. My grandfather was Edward Dagger 928251 ********* Does anyone have any information about any of them? Thanks

Suggest you try Aircrew Remembered. Their database is ny mo means complete but it is huge and you may be lucky.

Hi Jo,
Having looked on the Commonwealth War Graves site, I only found one of the names you listed. Presumably all the others survived the war.
Found this;
Flying Officer Arthur Hugh Grange, RCAF.
He was the bomb aimer in the crew of S/L A.W.Raybould, DSO, DFM, of 582 squadron, Pathfinder Force, based at Little Staughton. They took off from their base at 0303 on the 6th June 1944 to attack a coastal battery at Longues, France, in support of the D-Day landings. Their aircraft was lost without trace and all crew members are commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial.

The crew were briefed to attack a coastal battery at Longues. The ATD from Little Staunton was 0303

The aircraft was lost without trace. The crew have no known grave and are all commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial

Forgot to say

They did not fly on the night before D day.  Bud Grange went will another crew who were lost somewhere over the channel.

He was replaced by an australian called *******.

The crew stayed together until they finished flying duties in March 1945  (They flew 56  missions over enemy territory.  they flew the extra over 50 so that "pen" could get his 50 as he had been wounded in July 1944 and had to spend some time in hospital).

They all survived the war.

I understand that Tony Scott is no longer with us, he was much older than the rest of the crew and I know from my discussions with the pilot that Don Anderson has died
