On August 10, 1941 in Poughkeepsie, Stella married John Jack Spice. Mr Spice passed away in 1989. Since Jack was a member of the Army National Guard Stella travelled to his various duty stations across America. They eventually returned to Poughkeepsie, where they raised their children. She is a member of New Beginnings Church and was a passionate New York Mets fan. She was a Homemaker that loved to read, flower gardening, baking fruit cakes, cookies, lemon meringue pie and making soup for the family and neighbours who lived alone every Christmas. Stella volunteered with DAV Ladies American Legion Auxiliary and was very active in volunteering with PTA throughout etc etc Will send the full obit by pm.
