Barking Rippleside Cemetery
« on: Friday 04 October 13 10:24 BST (UK) »
Does anyone have a map of the above - I've got the details of my great grandparents' graves but no idea where they actually are - as the site is over 31 acres it's like looking for the proverbial needle! :)

Would appreciate any help available!

Many thanks
Clare

Hi,

Welcome to Rootschat.  :)

I had a similar problem with Chadwell Heath cemetery; contacted them with details and was emailed a map and grave number.  Contact details for Rippleside:

Thank you so much, I've got a map now so I know where my rellies are!  Just not sure when I'll get down to see them as I live in North Wales now...

On this subject - can anyone get the website "Find Your Deceased" - http://cemweb.barking-dagenham.gov.uk/servlet/Telesearch - to work

It's been "fragile" for a while and I found it seemed to prefer Chrome to Firefox but for the last few weeks I haven't been able to access it at all - I have sent a message through the "website errors" form but haven't had a response

Is anyone close enough to check with the Council??

Thanks in advance

Hi,

I had problems a few days ago so I emailed the cemetery I was interested in (Chadwell Heath), explained the problem (they are aware they said) and they offered to check their records.  I gave them the names/dates and got a response along with a map of the cemetery.
