That's ok - I thought it was a booby.

There's a Thomas Bishop b 1808 Calne wife Elizabeth, but in 1841/51 he's a hairdresser!

I'll try & have a deeper delve later.

Ok - sorry for the delay. I can't find Thomas on either the 1841 or 1851 census - don't know if I'm

missing something, but there isn't one with an 1815 b/date & I've checked around that date too.

I've also looked at every Thos Bishop in Chippenham around those dates, but no cabinet maker.

I did find a Henry Bishop b 1832 apprentice rentice carpenter in 1851 (thinking he might lead me to

Uncle T) but he was living with another family.

Maybe someone will come up with something I've failed to see. Sorry about that.
