ROBERTS/TAUBMAN

It's time I had a break from doing my own family tree so I am just starting work on finding some ancestors of my partner.  His Grandparents were Cecil ROBERTS b. 14 Aug 1921 Merseyside and Veronica TAUBMAN b. 19 Jun 1925 Liverpool.  They were married in the June quarter of 1944 in the Wirral.

Does anyone have ROBERTS and/or TAUBMAN family from this area?  If anyone can help me find out who their parents were without me sending for the birth certificates that would be great.  Cecil ROBERTS mother's maiden name was SHARPE and Veronica TAUBMAN's mother's maiden name was MOGILL.

you are going to have to check this out - but it looks like Joseph C Taubman was 50 when he married Mary McGill

wow - great info - I will just watch this thread with interest - am I right - with the little research I have just done that the Taubman family were from Port St Mary in the Isle of Man ?
