I'm trying to find a place rather than a record this time. I wonder if anyone has access to a 17th century or earlier map of North Yorkshire, north of Vale of Pickering-ish. A distant ancestor hailed from Boswell Moor, but I can find no mention of it on maps available online or via Google search.
I suspect it's somewhere north of Allerston/Ebberston - but could be way off mark. I can see various ......Moor place or farm names but no Boswell Moor. Any help or suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks.
