As it seems difficult to find burial records any ideas about finding an obituary which should give burial details , possibly southport visiter , but they don`t seem to have old records online ?

Hi
The likelist church burial would be St Cuthbert, Churchtown or perhaps one in Ainsdale or Formby the other Southport Churches didn't have graveyards open still in the 1960's. As for an obituary these would be in the Southport Visitor or Guardian which are at Crosby library in the local history section or there are copies at Southport Library. These newspapers haven't been put online!
Highton, Leadbetter, Wright, Marshall, Howard - Southport, Lancashire
Wilson, Hardy, Turner - Durham
Dow, Cramb, Moir, McAndrew - Perthshire, Scotland
Davies - Runcorn, Cheshire
Brown, Lancaster, Battersby - Staffordshire
