With a name as frequently occurring as White, the crem may need more info other than their names, full names and dates of death are a must and then most probably their last known address.

If Southport crem can help, the GRO reference numbers won't be required as they will mean nothing to them. The ref numbers only mean something to the GRO, they don't even tie up at local reg offices with their records.

However, if the crem can't help then post again with the reference numbers as that will indicate an area for the chatters here who may be able to help.

The red writing was me trying posting the same info

1948 is too early for the crematorium, 1965 is ok.
unless it was a church burial  (very unlikely as they were all full by then)
the possibilities are Portland st. cemetery or Birkdale cemetery although I think there was also a roman catholic one as well.
I would start by ringing the crematorium they at least should be able to point you in the right direction as to where the records are held

Although the crematorium may have opened after Frederick's death, the crematorium maintains all the burial & cremation records for Sefton Council. There are 4 cemeteries here

Trevor posted a contact email address in his earlier post but there's more information here

I think Portland st and Birkdale are local names for the two you have tried, duke st and Liverpool rd
