There is a civil registration record for the marriage which could be ordered and may offer up the father's names and occupations:

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/FT18-W29

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/FT16-DZ6

Edited to add:  The RootsIreland website has its own transcription of the record, it's pay to view.

Just in case you don't have the details- there were other children born in Ireland, including an earlier Alexander:
- Alexander (1864) https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/F5Y7-C3F
- son (1865) https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/FR92-565
- Thomas (1869) https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/F576-2XL
- Alexander (1872) https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/FPBV-4VM

Going by the marriage date of 1855 there were likely children born 1855-1863 (before the start of birth registration).
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

I have been doing some family history for a friend Robert Deacon, and have some information of Prudence , when she remarried  in Glasgow, and family to present time, if you are interested.
