My maternal grandmother who is still alive - grandfather was James beard. I have been researching my ancestry for 10 years and recently last year or so, came across thee “bowey” in our tree. Making William my 3rd great uncle. Following his story through the news papers have been very interesting and amazing. We have a few criminals in our family so it confirmed it rooted from our Nan which we all believed
