Oh there is a note on that cert which says "NOT our Thomas Garside"

Thanks- my gt grandfather is Paul- his brother Robert was also born US 1890- not Broughton as stated- I think their father Thomas D Hamilton Garside's birth 1855-1863 is buried in a non-conformist register- Unitarian/Scots Free or similar- perhaps in Oldham ?
