Hi Val

There does not appear to be any more baptisms for children of Edward-just Richard in 1711.

There is a note to say there is a gap in the registers from May 1716 to March 1719  :(

OFHS has a Baptism Index which can be searched ( for a small fee !) details on thier website.

Many thanks Kim and Artifis.
Will contact OFHS for a search through Baptisms.  In the meantime will see if I can find out more about Ann Birdseye.
Best Wishes to you both
Val

Don't forget to look at the BREAKSPEAR/BIRDSEYE marriage licenses listed on

http://www.whipple.org/oxford/2_alpha_by_grooms_names.pdf
http://www.whipple.org/oxford/4_alpha_by_brides_names.pdf

They often give clues as to which parishes to look for particular surnames.

Look at the wills also. A possible PCC one is here:-

http://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/SearchUI/Details?uri=D573224

and there will be more held at the Oxon Records Office at Cowley, Oxford.

Thank you Supermouse for this info.  Will certainly give it a try.
To all those that have responded to my queries.  A very big Thank You.  My search for my Breakspears has been made a little easier.
Best Wishes
Val
