Personally I don't see my own family history research as fun. It's something I got started on many years ago because there were some questions which I thought needed to be answered.

It's a lifetime's work and I'm hoping it will continue after I'm gone.

My ancestors were not so fortunate as me. They lived in difficult times.
I owe it to them to make sure that their descendants are aware of that fact.

Hi Paul,

I agree, our ancestors did live in difficult times, but I believe that hopefully, each generation learns valuable lessons , from the previous generations.

So as promised - the death certificate details for Frances and John Morrell.

John Morrell - died 1st July 1931,  at Prospect House, Nidd Road, Brearton, Knaresborough, aged 76 years. John is listed as a stone mason.

Frances Morrell - died 6th December 1942 at Post office House, Brearton, Knaresborough, aged 80 years.

Big thank you for all your help...another piece of the puzzle fits.
