The Frances MORRELL you are looking for, I think, is the lady who died in 1942.
Deaths Dec 1942 / MORRELL, Frances / 80 / Knaresbro' 9a 106
At the risk of repeating myself here goes (this message has already been sent to several people but now I will post it here) ... please read carefully ...
As pointed out in my last post on this thread (and I will elaborate here) the lady who died in 1937 is definitely NOT your Frances.
Deaths Dec 1937 / MORRELL, Frances / 80 / Knaresbro' 9a 146
Her age doesn't fit with any of the census returns where she shows her DOB to be between 1860 and 1862 and the consensus in the trees on Ancestry seems to be that she was born on the 16th December 1860. I don't know why this death has been assumed to be correct. In my opinion it isn't!
This Frances left a will which shows she died in Bilton, Harrogate on the 7th December 1937.
MORRELL, Frances of Daisy Cottage, Bachelor Gardens, Bilton, Harrogate widow died
7th December 1937. Probate London 25th January to Samuel Pickup CROWTHER, engineer
and Percy Heworth GILL, dairyman.
Effects £422 7s 11d
This same Frances was the wife of Joseph Inman MORRELL of Knox House Farm, who died in 1925. They are buried together at Bilton, St John the Evangelist in Harrogate.
In affectionate remembrance of / my beloved husband / Joseph I. MORRELL / Knox House Farm / died Nov 10th 1925 aged 66 years / Also of Frances / wife of the above / died Dec 7th 1937 / aged 80.
Deaths Dec 1925 / MORRELL, Joseph I / 66 / Knaresbro' 9a 131
Joseph also left a will ...
MORRELL, Joseph of Knox House Farm, Bilton, Harrogate died 10 November 1925. Probate London 1 February 1926 to John William MORRELL, farmer and Joseph FLETCHER, sexton. Effects £2224 17s 4d.
Joseph & Frances are at Knox House Farm in 1911. Shown as married 12 years (no children).
Marriages Sep 1898 / ABRAM, Frances / MORRELL, Joseph Inman / Knaresbro' 9a 189
There are two other MORRELL graves at Bilton, St John ...
John Wm. MORRELL, d. Aug 12th 1927, age 73 / Annie Mary, his wife, d. Nov 30th, 1925, age 66.
George MORRELL, of Bilton, d. Jan 9th 1888, age 74 / William Alfred, his son, d. Dec 27th 1880, age 5y 11m / Jane, his wife, d. Nov 25th 1906, age 76
So ... if we assume (your) Frances (wife of John) did die in Yorkshire that leaves only 3 other possibilities for a death of the right age (give or take a year or two).
Sep Q 1911 / Frances MORRELL / Age 50 / Bramley 9b 350
Mar Q 1938 / Frances E. MORRELL / Age 77 / Wharfedale 9a 184
Dec Q 1942 / Frances MORRELL / Age 80 / Knaresborough 9a 106
The lady who died in 1911 is buried at Armley Cemetery (from Yorkshire Indexers Database) ...
Grave B63 (Consecrated)
WATSON, James Ferdinand / 3 years / 3rd Jun 1899 / Abode not shown
MORRELL, Frances / 50 years / 6th Sep 1911 / Abode not shown
WALTON, Annie / 65 years / 9th Feb 1921 / Abode not shown
SMITH, Ann / 77 years / 17th Jun 1927 / Abode not shown
MORRELL, John Edward / 68 years / 30th Dec 1931 / 8 Abbott Road, Armley
I think it's safe to assume this is Frances SMITH, who married John Edward MORRELL in Leeds Mar Q 1886 (9b 394). YorkshireBMD shows they were married at Burley, St. Mathias. In the 1911 census at 8, Abbot Road are John Edward & wife Frances with son George William.
The lady who died in 1938 I'm quite sure is Frances Elizabeth THACKRAY, who married Tom MORRELL in Dec Q 1884 (Leeds 9b 574) at Headingley, St. Michael, and they are together in 1911 with daughter Blanche at Grassfield Terrace, New Road Side, Horsforth (in Wharfedale RD). This Frances and husband Tom were buried at Horsforth Cemetery (from Yorkshire Indexers Database) ...
Horsforth. Grave Green 670

Place Of Death: 136 New Road Side, Horsforth
MORRELL, Tom / Age 58 / 30 July 1919
Description: Plate Layer

So I would (almost certainly) say the Frances who died in 1942 is the one you should be looking for. Unless she remarried ... or moved a long way away!
