My wife's great uncle, Montague Alfred Coiley, was killed on 26 October 1940 near the Red Lion public house in Martlesham. He was a Pioneer serving with the Auxillary Military Pioneer Corps and suffered "multiple injuries consequent on collision with an Eastern Counties Omnibus Company's bus during the blackout" (ex death certificate).
Can anybody point me in the direction of the Coroner's Report for the inquest held on 28th October 1940 or any newspaper report of the accident, please?
