dora gertrude chivers was baptised on 24 may 1896 at brougham street methodist chapel, stranton branch, west hartlepool. no actual date of birth is given.

dora g m chivers married william r jackson in the wesley methodist church, west hartlepool, in 1932.

alfred was out of the country in the boer war in 1900 - but for how long?

I don't know if I should start a new thread for Alfred Chivers, what I am trying to find out now is if he served in the w.w.1.He would be quite old.Any help with this man, much appreciated, tom
