 I don't know much about the Deacons/Deakins. But my family know the Croydon surrey Hewitts And New addington surrey.. I have to ask my mom who they related to? Years ago my dad used to drink with some of them. Can't ask my father as he passed away many yrs ago.

Rachel & Thomas's children were called Amy, Rose, Thomas, Abraham, Rachel, Alfred, Rebecca, Britannia & Leonard. Rachel & Thomas were my Great Great Grand Uncle & Aunt. I descendants for most of the children, and also Rachel & Thomas's siblings etc so if you want any more info let me know.

Hi. It’s about a decade on from your post now. Hopefully you have successfully got all the information you need.
Mary Ann Deacon is my 2nd great grandmother on my mum’s side. Born 3rd March, 1851 in Chichester area. She married Walter Allen(1848-1925) in Hackney on 26th December, 1871. They ran a pub in Godalming around the turn of the century. She passed away 22nd June, 1947 in Godalming. Walter died 17th November, 1925 in Shalford.
I have Mary Ann’s parents as James Deacon(1815-1899) & Elizabeth Mayo(1819-1899), although I am not totally sure this is correct?

hi all i think my grate aunt louie james marrid abraham deacon son of thomas and rachel thay lived in mitcham had some daulters i am trying to find a photo of them can any one help
