Holywood cemeteries
« on: Wednesday 28 August 13 09:50 BST (UK) »
Have been searching Holywood Church and Graveyard MI's to find my 3x GGrandmother's burial place but, to no avail. Are there any other churchyards in the area, please.

She died in the Parish of Holywood 12 July 1865.

regards

I am going to be kept busy researching this. Have tried one or two so far, but no joy. She isn't at Terregles.

That would be a great help.

Jane MEIN d. 12 July 1865 parish of Holywood. She lived at Jericho for many years before going to Holywood but, I have looked in that area.

The ones at New Abbey aren't connected as far as I know.

Thank you for taking the time to search.

Memorial in Holywood graveyard.
Date doesn't fit but family names do!

Many thanks for the headstone. Yes, the names certainly fit and may well be a connection.

My 3xGGrandmother Jane MEIN maiden name BLACK was married to a John MEIN. They were both 60 on the 1841 census.

At the moment I am trying to find out who their parents were.

Regards
