Thanks for the comments and info.  I've attached the tree that we now have.  A relative of ours, Jenny Frazer, will probably come up and comment too.
Let's correspond by emails and you can also look into our Ancestry trees. It's possible that your details fit in here too..
I'll message you my email and Jenny's .  You can share the certificates that we have managed to get as well.
We also joined a FaceBook group in New Pitsligo who have been very helpful. "New Pitsligo - our community"
This RootsChat group was the hammer that managed to break down our brick wall that was Jane Cowie and Thurlow Fraser.

In the last line of your chart you have James "Imlar" and Margaret D Fraser.

Margaret's husband was James Imlah, born in 1837/8 (there is no record). He was killed at Carron Station, Knockando, on 13-6-1881 in a railway accident (he was a guard with GNSR).

When James and Margaret married (26-11-1863) the announcement in the newspaper described her as "the youngest daughter of the late Alexander Fraser, Forester to the late Lord Saltoun, Philorth."

Margaret Dunbar Fraser died 19-6-1904. The age given on her death certificate is 66.

Thank you GR2.  You have pointed out a few errors I've had.  I had these two duplicated.  The image above (the wrong duplicate) shows her as a sister to Thurlow, so I have deleted the two from there.  I also have her below as daughter of Thurlow and Jane.  And with her husband spelt correctly as Imlah.  You've also fixed the name as I didn't have Dunbar in this record or her date of death. Do you have the place of death?
Thanks again.

The censuses say that Margaret was born in the parish of Fraserburgh.

She married James Imlah at 9 St Nicholas Street, Aberdeen, on 26th November 1863. She signed her name Margaret Dunbar Fraser, gave her age as 26 and her occupation as domestic servant. She gave her parents as Alexander Fraser, forester (deceased) and Christina Fraser, M.S. Burnett (deceased). 9 St Nicholas Street was the address of the St Nicholas Hotel and Margaret may well have been working there. The hotel was owned by John Bonner and James and Margaret called their first daughter Joan Bonna Imlah.

James and Margaret had the following children:

Joan Bonna, born 5th September 1864 at Union Street, Keith, Banffshire,
Margaret Thomson Fraser, born 20th March 1867 at Land Street, Keith, Banffshire,
Jane, born 11th November 1868 at Water Street, Strichen, Aberdeenshire,
James, born 30th May 1871 at Bridge of Nethy, Abernethy and Kincardine, Inverness-shire,
William Forsyth, born 29th June 1874 at Nethy Bridge, Abernethy and Kincardine, Inverness-shire.

Margaret Dunbar Fraser died at Bridgend House, Abernethy and Kincardine, on 19th June 1904, aged 66. The cause of death was chronic rheumatoid arthritis and general debility. The death was registered by her son James who gave her father's name wrongly as "John" Fraser, forester. He did not know her mother's name, so that is blank on the certificate.

Also, I said in my last post that James Imlah was born in 1837/38. Checking again, I see his mother was expecting him when she appeared before the kirk session on 28th November 1838, so he would in fact have been born 1838/39.

Thank you for this information which I will add to my tree.  Slowly but surely I am hopeful we will eventually be able to find the parents of Alexander Fraser
