Hello again,

I would agree with Ruskie re hanging on a bit. I wonder if Alice may have then continued to use Fisher as a surname?
I know that this has been discussed at length but I am sorry I can't remember then answer  ::)
What is the position re the Workhouse records - entry and discharge?

The death Andy found looks intriguing too ... I am not happy with that middle name of Emma though (perhaps she added it later?  :-\), but her birth as 6th Feb is too much of a coincidence to ignore.

Birth for Alice Emma Quigley 1st quarter 1900 Portsea, Hampshire

Looking for a death for the Quigley b 1924 and there are a couple which could be possible though year of birth is a year out, and neither are in Nottingham. Apart from those there is not an exact match up to 2005.

Joseph P Quigley died 1948 Nottingham. I can't see a death or new marriage for Alice  :-\

That is a shame. The birthday 6th Feb looked promising

I wouldn't get too hung up on DNA as only a small number of people have done it. Also, the only Quigley result of interest would be a descendant of Alice Quigley (nee Hall)

Re the death of Alice Emma which you were referring to - I ws pointing out that presumably that is the wrong person as she was a spinster

Sorry heywood, I realised that then removed my post and now see that you have referred to it ....
