We think it may still be standing. Once the entire length from Cricklade Road junction towards Highworth was called "Kingsdown Road", but as above poster says, the first part is now Beechcroft Road.
Some houses were lost that would now be floating over the dual carriageway.
The (re-)numbering may be complex - if you email us at
localstudies@swindon.gov.uk and we would be happy to try and deduce where it was by matching certain landmark buildings (like the Boundary House, shops and pubs). Without checking I guess it would lie on the stretch between the current Bakers Arms and the Kingsdown Pub.
