I agree with Annette - that's the best solution.
Meantime though.....hmmmmmmm:

9The person listed above is a female visitor to the household, named Jessie. I wonder if it is an error, and in fact this is 'William' as indexed on SP?
Compare to your reference of: 820/00 003/00 009.
I have found the following info on their children (from a 2010 posting of your search plus 1871 Canada Census), plus compelling evidence that Ann's parents were named William & Janet.
http://shrinkalink.com/66261- Janet Bell 1852 – 1938
- William Bell 1854
- Margaret Bell1856
- Annie Bell 1859 – 1935
- Francis Bell 1863
- Jeannie A. Bell 1865 –
- Robert Bell 1870 – 1908
- John Bell - b 8 Feb 1874 (mother Ann died after his birth)
Based on Scottish naming pattern, I'd certainley be considering William's parents to be name William and Margaret - but this is just a tool and only a possibility, they may not have followed the pattern - or the children above are not representing the pattern (missing or deceased children etc)!
Cheers
