Have you found him on any census, what was his father name and occupation on the marriage

Edit, What was Harold's  age on the on the marriage, and who were the witnesses.

Thanks for the info. I'll take a look at those 4 entries.

I've not found him in any census. Witnesses at his marriage were his wife's sisters. He died in Leeds in Q1 1954 aged 55. He was 29 when he married in Leeds in March 1928. Father was Lewis, deceased, a bandmaster. He (Harold) lived in Bristol in 1923.

I checked 36195, who lived in Bristol, but he's reported in the papers as marrying Audrey Dutfield in 1925 and his father's initials were W H Cooke, so I don't think it's the right one.

Western Front Association has recently acquired Pension Records that aren't online.There is a cost but it may clear it up
