Sandra and Mark,

yes this is the correct family. Dugald and Louisa are my GGGrandparents. There is a lot of Stewart/McKendrick info out there; I just really was hoping to find birth regs for their children. And trying to confirm parents of Vina Stewart, b-1882. In 1891 she is listed as a boarder in Dugald/Louisa household.  On her marriage cert in 1910 in Boston, she lists them as her parents. I'm guessing they raised her; wondering who her parents were.

Thanks for your help, lIsa

Nothing concrete from the record data bases I listed above.

My best guess would be that 17 yr old Margaret was pregnant with Vina in 1881 at time of census, and that Vina (born in 1882 - listed as a lodger) was with Margaret and Grandma at their house at time of 1891 census.

Tough one to prove without hospital records as church records are generally sealed in these situations.

Sorry I could not help more.

Mark

Hi Lisa,

Provincial Archives of New Brunswick and Familysearch don't seem to have the information you are seeking, if there had been another avenue I am pretty sure Valerie would have pointed you in that direction.
Have you tried Public Libraries or New Brunswick Genealogical Society to see if they could help you.
