A possibility for Lizzie in 1901 at The Convent, Dover, Kent
Elizabeth Bowers, 39, convalescent patient, born Clerkenwell

Noting that the second page of the girls settlement stated that "the mother was seriously ill"

1911 - Jessie is possibly in Islington and then a death registered in apr qtr for Jessie M Bowers, Islington, age 19.

Hi  there Jom, Sharon & KGarrad.
Thank you all for the information you have passed on to me. I must say I was quite shocked to read some of the details. At times like these I realize just what a sad life so many people had back in those times. Lizzie's Mother died 1881 at the age of 39 yrs, her Father died 1892 age 50 yrs.

Can you let me know what Settlement Papers are please.
