Hi Graham, I have looked back through the 1881, 1891 and 1901 census, and also feel this supports ospreys thoughts that this is the same family.
In 1881, parents William (1846) and Elizabeth (1854) are living at 10 Dyvatty Street with the following children:
Sarah Ann, 1873
Thomas, 1876
Lydia, 1877
William, 1878
In 1891, parents William (1846) and Elizabeth (1854) are living at 10 Dyvatty Street with the following children:
Sarah Ann, 1873
Lydia, 1877
William, 1878
Elizabeth, 1884
John, 1887
Maud, 1888
Albert Ed, 1890
In 1901, parent Elizabeth(1854) who is now a widow is living at 10, Pentreharne Road, Swansea with the following children:
Thomas, 1876
Mary Ann, 1880 (cant match her)
Sarah, 1881 (cant match her)
Elizabeth, 1884
1n 1901, older sister Sarah Ann (1873) is now widowed. I had her down as Richards, but Osprey found her marriage to Thomas Henry Rickard. She is living with some of her own children and some of her own siblings:
Sam L, 1884 (cant match him)
John, 1887
Mary (Maud) 1888
Alfred, 1890
The whole page of this census is poorly written, and also could easily contain many mistakes, such as Rickards being written down as Richards; Maud written as Mary; Albert written as Alfred :-)
In 1901 there is a Lydia (1877) Taylor living with her husband and children at 8 Jones Terrace, Swansea.
