I am looking for Ernest Whitbread who was born 1886 in Windsor,Berkshire,England and was sent to Canada on 2nd Oct 1897 with British Home Children. He sailed on the ship Labrador.
There is an Earnest (spelling is different) Whitbread b 1886 in Uxbridge Canada that I found on 1901 census but not sure if this is him.And that is where my leads end I have trawled 1911 British census on Ancestry but cannot find him on that. His brothers George and Samuel also went to Canada with BHC and I have found everything for them including their deaths in 1967 and 1981 in Oshawa. They were with BHC as their father Thomas William and Frances Ellen both died in 1895 on separate dates and apparently there was no one to look after them although their elder siblings stayed in England. Any help on Ernest would be gratefully received.
