Just as an aside.

I have in my tree an Emily Barham who married Walter Anthony Alfred Beeching, Q3 1896 Rye, Registration District. I believe her parents were James Barham and Louisa Wood. Walter would be first cousin three times removed.

I don't think I have a connection with your Barhams, mine travelled down from the Suffolk/Norfolk border in the late 1800s and set up camp in Worthing and the surrounding area.
