Hi Jim

The 1877 marriage for George HARMAN mentioned in your post above took place in the Tonbridge (not Maidstone) RD which would also fit placewise with this Pembury family  ???

Best wishes

Hooray,
Just hit a goldmine full of information going back to 1500 His mum was a Caroline Harman  Father ????  She was unmarried and had other children by other fathers but i came across some one who has put in years of research and has documented everything makes my job easier but will take me days to add to my family tree. By coincidence The Harmans came from East Grinstead 35 miles away from my home. most were christened in St Denys Church I work in East Grinstead Just by the church so in my lunch times will be verifying information.
