Kevin Regan has published more information on Bertram with the same host.

Congratulations Kevin on the media coverage you attracted. Chris sent me scans of the newspaper article.

The article says it really "If it were my family, I hope someone would try every possible means to get in touch".
I'm doing no more than anyone else so, whilst the "Thanks" are appreciated, they equally belong to ALL who have helped, Chris, Jool and Dave particularly.
I just hope that the Scudder relations do respond and are interested in this member of their family.
That will be the reward I'll most appreciate, putting them in touch.

Just to let those interested know that BBC Essex here in the U.K. will be running the story again on the 'Dave Monk' programme with an update of what has been accomplished with the research. This will be available on i.player up to 23rd August.

Time of transmission will be 11.30am Friday 16.08.13.

Regards,

Chris.

Rob Lanting has forwarded a Dutch newspaper article about the project which I've posted on WW2talk.com where this investigation is current. (Membership needed to read the article).

See post 46.  Link:

Thanks for posting the link Stan, just listened to it - great stuff.  Lets hope the radio broadcast and Kevin's newspaper appeal will find more relatives.  It was also good to see/hear Rob and Erik  ;D

A comment has been posted on the Echo website regarding Bertram, they say "He was my nan's cousin unfortunately she died a few years ago".  Has this been followed up?

I placed a reply to the online newspaper article requesting the poster to get in touch with Rob Lanting but have heard no more from him to say whether he's been contacted.
