Does anyone know of, or have any info relating to this tragic incident that is linked to my family tree. I have found a lot in past newspapers from as far a field as NZ. But it would be great to hear from some one who has personal knowledge of it.

Bumping up posts isn't encouraged. After all, if too many people start doing it then the boards will be a mess. Google easily finds RC posts and if anyone does have more information the thread will be open for them to post on.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
